Farm Fresh on FEB 11th - Lightly Seasoned Braised Celeriac
For this Friday February 11th, we will be featuring lightly seasoned braised celeriac. This wonderful root vegetable was picked fresh from Madura Farms, in Orange County, NY
Quick Fact: Also known as celery root, celeriac is grown for it's large root or "bulbous hypocotyl" rather than it's stem and leaves. It's low in starch for a root vegetable, and is high in phosphorus and vitamin K.
